CP-21: Church Planting for the Twenty-First Century (continued)
History
CP-21 (Church Planting for the Twenty-First Century) was begun by EMI in the Baltics (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania) in 1997, in response to a need expressed by nationals to assist them in the training of church planters.
- Equipping—We focus upon equipping laity in the local church, to strengthen the existing churches of the Baltics, that they may extend their ministry and His Kingdom through the planting of new churches.
- Planter Training—We seek to identify “faithful men” God may be raising up to serve as church planting pastors, and provide training to equip them for the work to which they are called.
- Mentoring & Encouragement—We strive to provide a mentor for each church planter, and offer additional support, resources, assistance and continuing education as needed.
- Partnerships—We encourage partnerships of Baltic churches with American churches, for mutual encouragement, support, growth and edification, that together they may plant additional churches.
